Too Much Skyrim

Since before Christmas I’ve mostly been playing one game on my Xbox. That game is Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and it is AMAZING. I beat it 4, or 5, times already and have used just about every type of weapon, even a pickaxe. It’s worth buying if you like fantasy RPGs or if you need a good present for someone with an Xbox 360. It’s got great graphics, cool gameplay, and will  guarantee a laugh or two every time. Just yesterday I ran up to a giant, he hit me, and I joined the Skyrim Space Program by flying about 1000 feet into the air, remember this game is based in medieval times. Glitches aside this game is lots of fun and has already a cult like following on the internet. So go play Skyrim or take an arrow to the knee.

I’m Bad at Chess

Apparently there is a chess tournament being hosted by my email provider this month. I’m not sure exactly how chess works but they are offering some kind of prize to whoever wins the most. That sounded tempting to me and prompted a search about how to play chess on Google. So if you happen to also be in said tournament I can’t promise I’ll be a worthy opponent, but i can promise you an easy win. Send me a challenge request on the chess server sometime between 2 and 6, weekdays, and maybe I’ll be on with a futile attempt to beat you at chess.

Pacman

I used to play way too much Pacman. I had it on my iPod, my Xbox, and I played it at the local arcade at least once a week. But this game is defiantly one of my favorite games of all time. Simple controls, simple graphics but its a classic, and not in the bad way. I graduated from games like Pacman and Tetris to games like Skyrim and Cod 3 awhile ago but that doesn’t mean i lost my skill. Last week i noticed my email provider had added a games section to their website. So I says to myself, self, you should probably check this out. And I did and it was worth it.

MyPTSMail Games

The web service that provides my email, and this blog, just added a games section to their website. Besides things like chess and hangman, for the less skilled gamers, they also have a variety of first person shooter that I can agree with.  I have managed to beat most of them in a matter of minutes though, such as a game called Tactical Assassin 3. But the coolest thing is they got a flash version of Doom, a game which i haven’t played in a few years. Its definitely worth checking out, since they add new games a few times a week.
